Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

No experience is needed to take a class or sign up for a private lesson. We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses. Check the course for the required skill level, or use the contact page to ask about your specific needs for yourself or your student.

ADLYEA offers specialized programming for young artists (ages 6–12), teens, and adults. I have had 20+years teaching young adults in a variety of media.

To ensure personalized instruction and direct feedback, most studio classes are capped at 8 to 12 students. This applies to both virtual and in-person classes.

Materials for studio lessons are included in the registration fee for students to use in the studio unless otherwise stated in the course description. Multi-week adult courses may require purchase of materials. Recommendations can be made for students to purchase materials and practice at home. It is the students' or their parent/guardians' responsibility to check the course description for requirements.

Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or stained. Aprons are available in the studio, but studio-friendly attire is strongly recommended. The studio is in the basement of my home; we strongly recommend that you or your student bring non-skid socks or a pair of slippers.

You can register directly online through our website course portal. If you have any difficulties with registration, please use the contact form for help. Payment is also accepted at the time of registration for the class.

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the start of a class receive a full refund (minus a minor processing fee). Transfers to another session are available if requested 48 hours before class begins, if another session is open and space is available.
Cancellations not made 7 days before class will result in a 50% cost to the student, parent, or guardian on the first cancellation. All following cancellations will be at a 100% cost to the student, parent, or guardian

    • We offer sibling/family discounts and early-bird pricing to ensure art education remains accessible across our community.

    • Due to the studio being in the basement of my home, it is not ADA accessible. Parking is available in the driveway or along the driveway or along the bottom by the rows of corn.
